We have been very busy in Ms Russell’s Third Class. The children completed the Junior Achievement Programme with Benjamin Keil from General Motors. They helped create their own city by mapping out what it would look like and planning their own restaurant business. After five weeks, they were delighted to receive their own certificate. They worked really hard and it was great fun !
We recently learned about Ancient and Modern Day Egypt. The children painted their own Tutankhamun faces which are hung proudly outside the classroom. They also made beautiful Valentine’s Day cards. They are very creative boys and girls !
The children are progressing well with their Violin lessons with Ciarán and their basketball classes with Tony. They are working very hard practicing their poem for the Féile Luimnigh poetry competition in March.
