Launch of our child friendly Anti-Bullying document.This sets out very clear guidelines as to what bullying is and isn't and what actions are needed. It explains very clearly how we deal with bullying in our school if it ever happens.

Well-being week 2022 with visits from the mobile farm and a school disco! The children learn the importance of being kind to animals and how good it feels to move and dance!Thanks to the Parent's Association for running the disco and Mary for organising

Well-being means feeling good and strong in our minds and bodies.Well-being is about being happy and healthy and confident and focuses on developing as a person.  This subject is probably more important than ever due to the impact of Covid.

The children learn how to look after their own well-being by completing lessons from the Walk Tall  Programme, Stay Safe and R.E Programme. In our school we are also using the Weaving Well-being Programme which encourage well-being habits such as the power of gratitude,mindfulness, self-compassion and kindness. 

Whole school mindful meditations are done twice a week. Some benefits of this include: improves focus and concentration,it promotes confidence and self-esteem, it instills a feeling  of calm and it can improve children's listening skills

Well-being week is an annual event in our school and will be running from the 29th May- 2nd June.
